CAROLE O'DELL

Carole has been passionate about the sport of Volleyball and coaching at the High School and Junior Olympic levels for many years.  While coaching at Mathews High School in Vienna, OH she reached a milestone of over 100 wins and received Trumbull County Coach of the Year from the Trumbull County Coaches Association two consecutive years. She is a mother of 4 with 2 boys who played High School, College  and AAU Basketball and two daughters who played High School, College and JO volleyball. She hopes to use her experience as a coach and parent to help those players maximize their potential and achieve their goals whether it be on the on or off the court.   She is currently the Head Volleyball Coach at West Middlesex Area School District, West Middlesex, PA.

Marisa was a four year starter for the Saint Vincent College volleyball program. She played in 112 matches as a Bearcat setter, garnering  All PAC honors for 3 years and registered over 2000 assists and over 900 digs and  in her collegiate career. In her Senior campaign, she finished 3rd in NCAA Division III in triple doubles, with eight. She led the team in assists, and aces, while ranking second in kills and digs. She was a two sport athlete at Mathews High School in Vienna, Ohio, where she played four years of volleyball and currently holds the record for kills in a single season with 413.  She is currently entering her 6th season with Penn-Ohio VBC. Additional coaching experience includes Nike Volleyball Camps, Club One, Assistant Coach at West Middlesex Area HS. and is currently the Head Coach at Kennedy Catholic HS in Hermitage, PA.
